Privacy Policy

The short version

Perchd doesn't know who you are — no accounts, no emails, no passwords. We keep as little data as possible and never sell or share it with anyone.

What we keep

Here's everything Perchd stores, and why:

• A random Perchd ID — This is how the app recognises your device. It's not tied to your name, email, or anything personal.
• The product links you add — So we can check prices for you.
• A push token — Only if you turn on notifications, so we can let you know when a price drops.
• Product and outfit images — When you generate outfit visualisations, the images are stored temporarily so you can view and share them. Anyone with a shared link can see the outfit, but never who created it.
• General app usage — Things like which screens are popular and which features get used. This is fully anonymous — we see trends, never individuals — and it helps us make Perchd better. We collect this ourselves, never share it with anyone, and only use it to improve the app.

What we do with it

Your data is used for one purpose only:

• Price tracking and notifications — We check prices regularly and let you know when something drops by the amount you choose.

How long we keep it

• Shared links and outfit images are automatically cleaned up after 30 days.
• Your watchlist stays until you remove items or delete your data.

Tools we use

Perchd uses a couple of Google Firebase services:

• Firebase Crashlytics — Catches crash reports and basic device info (like your OS version and device model) so we can fix bugs faster. None of this identifies you personally. Crash data is retained for 90 days.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — Delivers push notifications to your device when a price drops.

No ads, no data sales

We don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. Some items may have affiliate links — tapping through and buying earns Perchd a small commission at no extra cost to you. You can always choose to turn affiliate links off at any time.

Deleting your data

You're in control. To delete your account and all associated data:

1. Open Perchd and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete Account.
3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

This removes everything — your Perchd ID, watchlist, collections, all of it. Gone from our servers, no questions asked. If you run into any issues, just email us at [email protected] and we'll take care of it.
